Features

Gain stages

  • High impedance JFET buffered input - no tone suck!
  • Pickup simulation circuit that enables the Wave Collapse to play nice anywhere in your signal chain
  • Hand selected high gain silicon transistors including one NOS BC108

EQ

  • Flexible tilt tone control with center catch
  • Sweep tuned to allow a wide range of sounds
  • Selectable mids response for flat or scooped tones

Robust Power Handling

  • 9VDC, 2.1mm center negative barrel, <5mA power draw
  • Extensive power filtering to reduce line noise
  • Shielded input signal path to prevent unwanted noise
  • Overvoltage and reverse voltage protection
  • Note: We recommend a quality regulated and isolated power supply. Our pedals do not accept batteries.

Enclosure & I/O

  • True bypass switching
  • Bespoke heavy duty aluminum enclosure
  • Unique typography to encourage exploration with your ears, not your eyes
  • Automotive grade powder coat paint - this stuff is durable!
  • Solid aluminum knobs

Controls

Input: Adjusts the amount of signal entering the pedal and operates similarly to a gain control. Low levels will provide thinner lo-fi EQ while high levels will result in thick full spectrum saturation.

Output: Too loud, turn it down.

Bias: Controls the texture and behavior of gain. This is highly interactive with the Input control. Turn the dial up for thicker gated fuzz or down for open character and clarity.

Filter: A tilt EQ to cut bass or treble with an adjustable mid response via the Center switch.

Range: The amount of bass entering the circuit. Middle position is the lowest amount of bass while the left and right positions provide more and more bass respectively.

Mass: Increases the overall gain of the pedal. Middle position is the lowest amount of gain while the left and right positions provide more and more gain respectively.

Center: Changes the Filter’s mid EQ response from flat.

A fuzz Kaleidoscope!

The wave collapse is one of a kind. Produces a variety of lush fuzz tones with extensive tweakability. The bias and filter controls add a unique spectrum of sounds not found in other fuzz pedals. Top quality build with high end components under the hood!

Good Time Boy.

Been having a lot of fun with the Wave Collapse. The pedal has pushed me to explore the variety of sound combinations that I haven’t done with some of my previous fuzz’s. I haven’t been able to settle on a favorite setting in the best way.

And thanks for the custom color!

I love it this fuzz!

This fuzz pedal is incredibly versatile. It’s capable of producing classic fuzz tones, splatty sounds, and even some bit crushing. The controls are intuitive, and the switches noticeably affect the bass (top switch), gain (middle switch), and mids (bottom switch), offering a huge combination of sounds. I’ve never struggled to find a sound I like with it. I'm also a big fan of the form factor and top mount jacks!

My only suggestion would be to include an option to dim the LED, as it can be a bit too bright at eye level when my pedalboard is on my desk.
